29. GARGANO

Gargano lies on the Adriatic Sea and boasts an list of  option sfor perfect italian summer holidays.  The tenders are largley concentrated in the protected area of the Gargano National Park, a strip of land which includes all, from beech and oak from the Forest Umbra, up to the sheer limestones cliffs and the pebbles from the caribbean coast. The waters are clean a san picture post-card and the  villages, white washed and calm, embrace the sea. Twelve nautical miles offshore, in the hydrofile boat, there are the Tremiti Islands, bush land surrounded by a wealth of sea life with its own marine reserve – Looking for Romanesque churches and restaurants of the fishermen? There are Peschici and Vieste larger than the fishing villages but much more comfortable as an city with white walls and medieval villages. How about hiking in the mountains? Found…
